But it is equally important that you take the steps needed to achieve your goals and you do this through taking action with purpose. One won’t work effectively without the other.

  1. Make sure you are clear on your goals. This is the WHAT or the outcome and could be based around revenue, number of sales, conversion.
  2. Think about the specific steps you need to take to achieve these goals (the HOW). For example how many conversations with potential customers or leads do you need to be attracting to achieve your conversion % goal.
  3. Set parameters on how you are measuring and monitoring these actions and how often are you checking in on these? This will make sure you are not doing things just for the sake of doing them. If you’re action is not getting the right results – do something else!
